Nice, huh… Check out more info in this forum thread. I was hoping I would hit the M1 better since I like the appearance better, but that was not the case. The mid irons of the set are very easy to hit, especially with a draw.

Hey Rob, Nice Review. Much more harsh when mishit though, but I knew that was coming.
I know this accounts for the distance gain but the ball definitely comes off hot compared to my set. This happened to be a center strike and impact felt like almost nothing at all… in a good way.
All in all, these clubs are very playable and forgiving on shots that miss the dead center of the clubface. The S3 Max irons are designed to be forgiving and promote a high launch. Golfers who want ample forgiveness and boost in trajectory in their irons.
Will a ping g10 driver inprove my golf? Great job on the Black X irons. Might be a little harder to hit knock down shots, though.
Hell Yes, it did. Search Advanced Search section: The other two sets are not as strong in this area, but definitely perform better with off center hits.

I have never broken 80 before. There is an element of forgiveness yet a very comfortable feel even on off centre shots. Though there have been reviews on razt iron set individually and a lot of comparisons with each of these to either MPs or J40CBs, I haven't seen many people compare them against each other.
I will try and see if I can locate both a 5 iron and 9 iron to see if a full set might be a winner for me. But, it is pretty inconceivable to me that I just lucked into an iron that fits me as well as anything else out there!
I've narrowed down my options to the ping G20, the cobra AMP and the callaway razr x black and i'd like to know if anyone has an opinion on this.

Look for new models that aren't only geared for better players, but also have the perimeter-weighting and forgiveness most amateurs want. Spin was blwck, but I was also seeing slightly more draw bias to my shots.
